I'm still learning Krita
I hope it allows for more artistic drawing than gimp did for me

I use krita as well, and also.... Gimp is a photo editor first.... When it comes to brushes... Use custom brushes, as most of krita's default brushes are pretty blurry and also use the lasso tool. If want to see evidience of that direct issue.... Try anything made before Dec. 25th Which was atropic cave, before seeing early custom brush work being very pastel until more recently....

These numbered items were supposed to be "sketch"es and I only gave them backgrounds at my own whim. This one ended up being a lot more complicated than many of the others, though it is not apparent from the finished result, and once I got the character drawn I could not justify spending more time on it.
